When performing the sankalpa, the priest will recite to name of the sponsor and their spouse and then say “and all family members” in Sanskrit to include blessings for all your family members. Bathukamma Festival
Bathukamma Festival will be celebrated on Sunday October 15 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Bathukamma is mother Goddess symbolically made with fresh flowers, in a pyramid or Sri Chaka form. This ritual is observed in certain regions of South India. All devotees are invited to participate. Families wishing to participate will offer dhupam, deepam, naivedyam, turmeric and kumkum, and haarathi to Bathukamma. |
